Covid-19 Response Updates:
June 27th, Saturday
We held an art exhibit opening. Our first since this Covid-19 pandemic began. We released the following statement regarding guidelines for attending the exhibit:
Because Covid-19 is still an issue and may in fact be rising in infections again, we are approaching this with utmost care and responsibility. It will not in any way be like any art show we’ve had before. We have been looking forward to presenting you this body of work by photographer Abraham Menor (@keptabsorbed ), in collaboration with some of his friends, including me and Sean.
Guidelines:
Please wear a mask.
The event is free but RSVP is required. Link in bio or go to
Please do not attend if you are feeling sick.
What to expect:
Viewing in the gallery will be done in 15min appointments of up to two people only.
Once we receive your RSVP, we will send you a list of available times to choose from.
Some day we hope to do art shows the way we used to again. In the meantime, we greatly appreciate your support, understanding and cooperation.
Thank you ❤️

We released the following statement on social media: In support of current efforts to mitigate the effects of COVID 19 in our community, The Arsenal will be closed starting Saturday, March 14 until further notice. All scheduled events have been postponed and our weekly classes are suspended. The health and safety of our loved ones, our neighborhood and our community and beyond is our priority. We are looking into other ways to earn income for the shop and support our fellow artists who rely on such events, art shows and workshops to make their living. Please be safe and stay healthy. We urge you to be mindful and vigilant and compassionate ❤️ Each one of us are all affected in different ways. We thank you for your support and we look forward to better days ahead. In the meantime, we hope you let art-making and art appreciation be some of the ways to pass this time. Please stay tuned.
