About The Event

KASUTI Embroidery - traditional form of folk embroidery practiced in the state of Karnataka, India.

Date : March 2nd 2019, 10 am -12 pm

Fee: $75

Over the class you will learn:

traditional Indian Kasuti - 4 stitches Ganti, Murgi, Neyge and Menthe to create beautiful patterns.

Each person will receive their own embroidery kit including an embroidery hoop, fabric, thread and needles.

You will create samples of embroidery stitches to practice and to take home and keep as a reference.

At the end of two hour workshop you will leave with a finished tea towel.

This is a deceptively simple craft that can be experienced by beginners to advanced embroiderers.
